Participants of the International Youth Environmental Camp, along with Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and guests, visited the Zarafshan National Nature Park in the Samarkand region.
Everyone walked through the park, admiring its riparian forests and the noble Bukhara deer, which were recently on the brink of extinction.
The stay in the reserve was not only an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature but also an important reminder of the significance of preservation and the close interconnection of ecosystems. The participants of the excursion sadly noted that often the main aspect of saving ecosystems is reducing anthropogenic impact, or human intervention.
This experience served as an impetus for eco-activists from different countries to take active actions and initiatives aimed at conserving ecosystems and creating transboundary parks for migratory species.
