The Ustyurt Nature Reserve is located in the unique ecosystem of the Ustyurt Plateau, where desert, semi-desert, and rare plant species coexist. This reserve is home to many rare animals, including steppe wolves, gazelles (jeiran), and endangered bird species. The reserve also protects archaeological monuments.
